SkyLine Booking ("we," "us") operates this website to help you search and book flights, tours, and travel packages, and to manage job applications and staff operations. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Browsing the site
You don't need an account to search flights or browse destinations and tours. Your currency and light/dark theme preferences are stored in your browser only (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.
Booking a flight or tour, or requesting a fare
We collect your full name, email address, and phone number (with country code). Flight bookings also collect your passport number; tour bookings also collect your number of travelers and preferred travel date. None of these flows collect payment card details — SkyLine Booking does not process payments through this website. A member of our team follows up directly to confirm your booking and arrange payment before travel.
Applying for a job
We collect your name, email, phone number, cover letter, and the resume file you upload.
Submitting a review
We collect the name you provide, your star rating, and your written comment. Reviews are shown publicly on the relevant tour or destination page.
Subscribing to our newsletter
We store the email address you provide so we can send fare updates and travel content. You can ask us to remove it at any time — see Your Choices below.
Looking up a booking ("My Trips")
We use the booking reference and email you enter only to find the matching booking. This doesn't create a new record about you.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your flight or tour booking, or respond to a fare inquiry
- To review and respond to job applications
- To send newsletter content, only if you subscribed
- To operate and secure the site, including detecting misuse of our forms
We do not sell your information. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
Third parties
Hosting and storage: booking, application, and review data is stored with our hosting and database providers. Uploaded files — resumes and, for staff, identity documents — are stored with a cloud file-storage provider, restricted to authorized access only.
Expedia widget: our homepage includes a hotel and flight comparison widget from Expedia Group. If you interact with it, Expedia may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy, which we don't control.
Staff identity verification (KYC)
Staff members complete an identity-verification process that includes a government ID, Social Security number, and address. This information is used solely to verify employment eligibility and is accessible only to authorized administrators.
Data retention
We keep booking, application, and review records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legitimate business or record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, and we'll honor that request unless we're required to retain it — for example, completed staff identity-verification records.
Your choices
- Access or deletion: email support@skylinebooking.org and we'll respond.
- Newsletter: unsubscribe anytime via the same email.
- Cookies: a session cookie is only set if you log into the staff portal. Anonymous visitors browsing or booking are not tracked with cookies.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect the information you share — encrypted transport (HTTPS) sitewide, and access controls limiting who at SkyLine Booking can view sensitive submissions like identity documents. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
